Holiday Party - minus the tinsel

Christmas decorations don't have to be red, green, or involve tinsel. That was the mindset for this group of design students when they designed the annual Christmas party for the Royal Danish Embassy at the Ambassador's house. The theme was Hans Christian Andersen's "Snow Queen" in the context of the Copenhagen Conference currently being held. The design reflected climate change and all of the materials were recycled, reused, recyclable, or reusable.
The snowstorm that moved throughout the house was created using coffee filters, old newspapers, and paper out of recycling bins. I like their new spin on Christmas lights, grouping snowball lights on the ground and LED lights in jars hanging in the trees.
I love the candles in jars on the tree stumps, and the best part is these fantastic ideas can be used all year round!

Taylor Tomasi: Style icon

Taylor's style is impeccable. The way she mixes hard and soft, masculine/feminine, the accessories!
I suppose it's to be expected, she is an accessories director.
I'll take the blue blazer, the blue Fendi, and any of those boots.
