My friend Marisa once told me she likes to wear pretty sundresses to do chores - it makes grocery shopping all the less mundane. I loved the idea and I want to start putting it into practice (if not dresses then at the very least some lipstick)! And besides, we could all use a bit more glamour in our lives, right? Here's an editorial to get us into the spirit of things.

Great pictures! I have totally worn a cocktail dress while doing chores (err and my lace Monique Lhuiller while sitting at home surfing the web!)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your grandmother as well. Nice to meet another American expat. You have such a cool clean blog design and I'm glad to follow you now. Hope you can drop by again and follow again too (that and I'll be having a few more contests in the next few weeks!)

I'm not always a huge editorial fan, preferring street styles realism, but this is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine doing the trash in platform wedges but I do love to dress up a little for mundane chores.
Ooh la la, I absolutely adore this collection!!!
