Where you actually do. pay. less. These babies are designed by alice+olivia and from what I've read (from Carrie at thisfreebird!) they're actually pretty comfortable. Don't worry everyone, they don't have them in my size. But maybe they come in yours! Have a look.

Also, I didn't make the connection between my shopping hunger pains and my chocolate binge.. it all makes sense now. But when my boyfriend came home with a box of 3 dozen Ferrerro Rocher's I had no choice but to dig in. Gold foil everywhere.

P.S. The beautiful Topshop wedges below are sold out in pink and red but the black is still available in a range of sizes! Online anyway. For those of you lucky enough to have a real Topshop, go your hardest.

I've also read they're pretty comfortable!

STREET STYLE:: WHY?

Why Oh Why did I include these irresistible Topshop wedges in my Shopping Ban post? Totally counter-intuitive. My only refuge is that they're sold out. So even if I wanted to, I couldn't fold under the pressure of their sky-high pink wedge platform heels. But doesn't Denni look fly?

SHOPPING BAN:: TAKE TWO

Sorry guys, I cracked.. But let me explain! I decided to buy these shoes last week but then they sold out and I was reeeally sad and was kicking myself for spending too much time deliberating and trying to be sensible. But THEN today I realized they were back in stock so I quickly had to snap them up before they sold out again!  

So really, it counts as last week's purchase that finally came to fruition today. No harm done. Right? Anyway, the new ban starts today.

SHOPPING BAN 2010

It has been a particularly over-indulgent shopping week for me. Yes, as in I shop every week. Therefore,

I hereby place myself on an official shopping ban until 28 June 2010.

Please do not tempt me with your vintage dresses and your killer boots and your weathered leather jackets. I will have none of that. In the meantime, I eagerly await the arrival of all my recent online purchases ;) I'm hoping they will tide me over as they slowly arrive over the next month.

I love witnessing the transition from the runway to the real world. That's assuming the red carpet somehow counts as some twisted adaptation of the real world. And that Dree Hemingway is in some form a real person. Anywho, I was thrilled to see Dree working this magical little number from the Valentino  Spring 2010 Couture Collection.
