STREET STYLE:: Camel + Color

Today I'm loving: Camel coats over bright blouses & blazers.

INTERIORS:: Chandelier + Twist

This would complete my apartment. Such a great modern twist on a crystal chandelier - literally!
Side note, one of my great pet peeves is when people use the word 'literally' incorrectly.
"I'm so stressed I could explode, literally"
No. You will not literally explode.

CHARITY:: People & Planet

Now this is a truly charitable gift idea. I'm giving these beautiful calendars to several of my loved ones this year, if you're still stuck on those last few presents I highly recommend these!
I'm spending the holidays with family in Washington state. Cold weather and Christmas lights and grandma's cooking - this is real Christmas! (no offense sydney). Hope you're all enjoying your holidays!
Buy a calendar at http://peopleandplanet.org.au/ to help over 37 charities (and to help my friend Pete save the world!)

WISHLIST:: Gold + Vertebrae

Last minute (last second) Christmas wish? This amahhzing necklace. If you're really stumped, and want to give me something that I can wear with 100 different looks and will garner so much attention and love that I never take it off - then this is your bet. It's just.so.good. Too good. Oyea - and too expensive. Oops!

LOOKBOOK:: Oneteaspoon + Pink

I've never given pink enough credit as a winter color. Looks like pink will be making its way into my wardrobe as well as my walls.

INTERIORS:: Christmas + Branches

I'm out of town for Christmas this year so I didn't bother with a Christmas tree, but this is a cute way to dress up a tree or branches you already have in the house! Wish I had thought of this before now (the day before I leave!)

EDITORIAL:: Holidays + Indulgence

Apologies for the slow-down in posts, I've been swamped with Christmas preparations! Shopping shopping shopping and eating and Christmas drinks and then more shopping. This editorial evokes that over-indulgent feeling of the holidays for me, as well as being drop dead gorgeous. I've always liked Barbara Palvin, or baby Natalia (doncha think?)

INTERIORS:: Modern + Ornate

I've been noticing these photos of traditional, ornate architecture in modern white rooms. I love the contrast, and I think the architectural details in the photos actually transfer to the room. Great idea for an apartment!

RED CARPET:: Kate + Mint

Could there be a fresher look than this?? I doubt it.
This would be an unexpected look for your next holiday soiree, no Christmas brooch needed.

STREET STYLE:: Perfect + Simple

Major Why didn't I think of that moment. This outfit is so simple and still incredibly cute. I wish I could find that little skirt, my first stop will be modcloth. And those shoes look so comfy, they could be these Jeffrey Campbell's.

INTERIORS:: Pantone Color of the Year 2011

Need a pink Smeg fridge. Need.

The Pantone color of the year 2011 is pink! Well, Honeysuckle to be exact.
It’s a color for every day – with nothing “everyday” about it.
I'm particularly excited for this new development because three of my newest purchases just arrived in the mail, three new paintings, all primarily pink! One's huge and I'm sure will make a big impact on any room, and the other 2 are smaller but to die for. Perhaps I'll take some pics for you once they've been stretched and hung! I feel like Christmas has come early.

STREET STYLE:: Perfect dress

Rachel Rutt has such a great look. I need a bold print dress like this (I love long sleeve dresses) to wear at any occasion. You could go from brunch at a cafe to shopping in the afternoon then out for drinks in the evening with this one dress. Maybe add black booties for night. Seeing Rachel taking off also makes me giddy remembering the pics I got of her from Sydney Fashion Festival. Next stop, find this dress.

WEDDING:: Beach

When I first saw these wedding photos I assumed they were shots from an editorial, or cool scenes from a movie. But no, they're just the real life photos of Aussie blogger Oracle Fox and her ridiculously cool wedding. I mean really, I couldn't dream of a more perfect dress and feather headdress to wear to a beach wedding. You win.

INTERIORS:: Gold + Glam

Nothing adds instant glamor to a room (and an outfit) like a bit of gold. Just a touch of gold can make all the difference. And that's why I love the blog For the Love of Gold - no explanation needed.

Oh and for some more gold & glam be sure to check out my GIFT GUIDE on coco+kelley! I found so many goodies for under $25, I'm so tempted to buy some myself!

LOOKBOOK:: Bodkin s/s 11

Isn't it wonderful when someone gets it so right? Bodkin has me all figured out, right down to the slouchy boots. Go ahead and add this lookbook to the Christmas wishlist, Appendix B!

INTERIORS:: Eclectic kitchen inspiration

One of my favorite kitchens of all time
Equally eclectic living room

Another view of the kitchen - note the cat dining area on the left!
This beautiful home belongs to one half of the blogging duo behind Desire to Inspire (one of the best interior design blogs). As I said above, this is absolutely one of my favorite kitchens of all time, I can just stare at it and all of its details to no end!
Things I love: the wooden cupboards, the pendant lighting, the modern chairs, the bright traditional rug, and of course the teapot collection! Take a good long look at the top photo, there's so much more to love.
