CHARITY:: People & Planet

Last minute (last second) Christmas wish? This amahhzing necklace. It's just.so.good. Too good. Oyea - and too expensive. Oops!

EDITORIAL:: Holidays + Indulgence

Apologies for the slow-down in posts, I've been swamped with Christmas preparations! Shopping shopping shopping and eating and Christmas drinks and then more shopping. This editorial evokes that over-indulgent feeling of the holidays for me, as well as being drop dead gorgeous. I've always liked Barbara Palvin, or baby Natalia (doncha think?)

I've been noticing these photos of traditional, ornate architecture in modern white rooms. I love the contrast, and I think the architectural details in the photos actually transfer to the room. Great idea for an apartment!

Need a pink Smeg fridge. Need.

The Pantone color of the year 2011 is pink! Well, Honeysuckle to be exact. 

It’s a color for every day – with nothing “everyday” about it.

I'm particularly excited for this new development because three of my newest purchases just arrived in the mail, three new paintings, all primarily pink! One's huge and I'm sure will make a big impact on any room, and the other 2 are smaller but to die for. Perhaps I'll take some pics for you once they've been stretched and hung! I feel like Christmas has come early.

STREET STYLE:: Perfect dress

Rachel Rutt has such a great look. I need a bold print dress like this (I love long sleeve dresses) to wear at any occasion. You could go from brunch at a cafe to shopping in the afternoon then out for drinks in the evening with this one dress. Maybe add black booties for night. Seeing Rachel taking off also makes me giddy remembering the pics I got of her from Sydney Fashion Festival. Next stop, find this dress.

When I first saw these wedding photos I assumed they were shots from an editorial, or cool scenes from a movie. But no, they're just the real life photos of Aussie blogger Oracle Fox and her ridiculously cool wedding. I mean really, I couldn't dream of a more perfect dress and feather headdress to wear to a beach wedding. You win.

Nothing adds instant glamor to a room (and an outfit) like a bit of gold. Just a touch of gold can make all the difference. And that's why I love the blog For the Love of Gold - no explanation needed.

This beautiful home belongs to one half of the blogging duo behind Desire to Inspire (one of the best interior design blogs). As I said above, this is absolutely one of my favorite kitchens of all time, I can just stare at it and all of its details to no end!
Things I love: the wooden cupboards, the pendant lighting, the modern chairs, the bright traditional rug, and of course the teapot collection! Take a good long look at the top photo, there's so much more to love.
