We've been seeing loads of innovative designs using digital prints in recent years, but Josh Goot is the undeniable master of the craft. The enlarged brush strokes reminded me of the artist James Nares's paintings. I can't wait to see how the tastemakers wear these looks in real life! This is one of those collections that has my imagination running wild - I'm picturing Anna Dello Russo with a fantastical headpiece on, or Christine Centenera in one of the paint splattered skirts paired with a structured black top. And the shoes! Just imagine all of the beautiful shoes you could wear with these dresses! The last is obviously my pick, I think some fierce black booties would look so sharp. I'm always happy to see Australian talent thriving, stay tuned for more RAFW posts this week!
The prints on these pieces are fantastic! I love the random placement and painterly quality. beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI love this. I have a skirt in a similar style to this and will definitely be trying to recreate this look.
