LEARNING HOW TO KNIT

Despite 105 degree conditions, and  despite the fact that today my summer sandals started to melt WHILE I was wearing them....... I'm learning to knit!
It's week one and I'm starting off with a super chunky knit scarf in cream. But these ladies have me inspired to go buy some wild yarns like hot pink and bright greens!
Feeling inspired.

  1. I love oversized knits, I'll never forget sitting down with my grandmother when I was younger and her teaching me how to use a set of knitting needles.

  2. A few have tried to teach me, but it just flies right over my head.

My MIL can knit a scarf in 6 minutes or less, with out looking, pull it apart and start again, to re-shape and size it as she likes. She's wild.

    Cheers!
