Derek Lam's Pre-Fall collection was basically a manual on how to wear a fur stole - a piece I have been contemplating purchasing for a long time (vintage, natch). I did actually find the perfect black stole once in Shanghai, and in my efforts to play hardball while bartering I tried the "walk away and pretend you don't want it until they lower the price" technique... that didn't end up working out for me. It is now one of my great shopping regrets. Sigh.

ReplyDeleteI have tons and tons of vintage fur collars that I've collected over the years. I don't wear them much but seeing them here makes me want to pull them out and wear them on the next cold day or not :)

wow, love this take on with the fur look, esp the army green suit! Yeah, i always like the fur look i see on street styles but i've been pondering for so long if i should ever get it.

I should definitely check it out if i get a chance to go back! and yes, i tried that pretend i dont want it and walk away so they will lower the price but gotta say, this tactic don't work much nowadays,lol.
